Touted by Golf Magazine as one of the top 100 golf courses in the country, La Costa Resort and Spa’s South Course features a carefully planned layout and plenty of beautiful scenery.
Tucked away in a quaint village setting, the South Course at La Costa has an idyllic charm with a meandering creek and lush gardens throughout. It is no walk in the park, though, with a challenging layout that features narrow fairways and plenty of water hazards.
The greens are quick and true. The rolling landscape provides elevated tees and raised green complexes. There are also 87 strategically placed bunkers throughout the La Costa’s South Course, many of which have high lips and contours that can make recovery near impossible.
